The Better Cotton Platform (BCP)is an online system used only by Better Cotton and registered supply chain organisations that buy, sell or source Better Cotton or cotton-containing products as Better Cotton. The aim of the platform is to act as an online database where supply chain actors can enter and monitor transactions for Mass Balance and/or Physical Better Cotton, and Better Cotton can verify the volumes of Better Cotton sourced in the supply chain.

Here you can register, pay, receive online training and ultimately access the BCP. 

Online payment allows access within 2-3 days and is the preferred payment method.

There is also the option to pay via international bank transfer, however this can take 10 or more working days and you are responsible for covering all related bank charges, including local taxes.  BCP Access will not be given until payment has been properly reconciled in our account. 

BCP Access is valid for 12 months and is renewable annually.

Before proceeding, please review the following: 

• Read the Terms and Conditions for BCP Access.
• If you have previously had a non-member BCP Access, or been a Better Cotton Member you are not able to register using the online form. Please contact helpdesk to receive an offline registration form.
  
• Confirm that neither your organisation nor any of its owners, subsidiaries or affiliates appears on any internationally recognised default or sanctions list, including, but not limited to, ICA's list of Unfulfilled Awards (Part 1 and 2) , the United States Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Controls Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List; and the Consolidated list of persons, groups and entities subject to EU financial sanctions.
  
• Verify that you are authorised, on behalf of your company, to make this purchase. 

You must agree to or confirm the above before filling out the form. Better Cotton will not refund payments in cases where applicants have not been diligent in making these checks and/or are subsequently found to be in breach of the Terms and Conditions. Better Cotton also reserves the right to block BCP Access if has been given due to incorrect information in the registration form.

Payment

There are two methods of payment available: by debit/credit card (VISA or Mastercard), or via international bank transfer. 

If you require urgent access to the Better Cotton Platform, we recommend paying by debit or credit card. Payments by international bank transfer can delay your access by ten or more working days. 

Please note that it is not possible to switch payment method after you submit your form, so please choose carefully the payment mode you want to use for the payment of your fee.

Online Training

Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a link to the online training which you must successfully complete before we can create your BCP Account. This training link is sent from trainer@learn.trakstar.com so please ensure you add this email address to your contact list. It is important that you complete the training via the link in the email you receive. 

If you have previously completed the training, you will still need to retake it by clicking on the link in the email you receive - this will ensure you receive access to the BCP within a day from completion of the training. 

BCP Account

After you successfully complete the online training, your BCP Account will be created within 2 working days and your login details will be sent to you via email. These details will be sent to you from support@bettercotton.org so please ensure you add this email address to your contact list.
